Sunday, so I've been baking. My first attempt at ciabatta. Hasn't been sliced into yet, so I don't know if it actually turned out. Looks OK on the outside though.

Amaryllis plant. The bulb was a Christmas present. I left it sitting on a shelf for a while. When I finally remembered it a few days ago, it had already started to sprout. It's grown a lot since then. I think the poor start is the cause of the 'mutant' look - I'm sure the stem is supposed to come out of the middle, and the leaves from the outside.
